I'm Puck, a Queer Trans Enby Licensed Massage Therapist trained in myofascial release, massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, assisted stretching, and craniosacral therapy. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer. I utilize trauma-awareness practices, and specialize in working with scar tissue and chronic conditions, such as EDS-hypermobile umbrella and fibromyalgia. I firmly believe that we do some of our best work resting and healing in the parasympathetic ("rest & digest") state.
Rest for the Wicked Massage Therapy is designed to be a welcoming healing space serving the Baltimore Queer community, in particular trans and gender non-conforming folx, and those who may experience extra stress and health issues within the social climate, experience added isolation and a lack of positive or healing touch, and who have had poor--and potentially limited--experiences with the medical industrial complex. With Glitter Mayhem Physical Training, I offer Movement + Mobility Packages to support my clients who want to be more comfortable in movement.
I want to be a part of my community, working collaboratively for justice, by way of assisting our bodies to heal.
We're not repentant; we're resplendent!

*Movement + Mobility Programs include massage, assisted stretching, and physical training to achieve goals.
I am well-trained, always up-skilling and learning more, and provide quality work that is worth the investment, but it is also my belief, that in a just society, clients seeking healthcare should not be responsible for paying the practitioners who work with them, regardless of their income. That is, unfortunately, not the system nor the society we live in. As such, I call upon those who are in a position to support this work to pay-it-forward, and allow me the flexibility to help others while making a living wage. To support those who are not able to pay for the luxury of healthcare (because this is not a just system!), I offer the following options in addition to the seasonal subscription plans, furhter below (which can also operate on the sliding scale).
Sliding Scale Fee Structure: For almost every service I offer there is a sliding scale fee structure that includes a Standard, Accessible, and Pay-it-Forward prices respectively. The goal is to both make my services accessible to folx who need healing touch and meet my needs according with my skill and investment.
Disability or Unemployment: If you are on Disability or Unemployment, or if you have applied for either and your income is impacted regardless of whether or not the government awarded you the benefit, you are welcome to pay the deposit and pay-what-you-can on the day of the appointment. Please just let me know that this is the case when you reach out to schedule an appointment with me; there's no stigma here.
Pay-it-forward gift cards: Sometimes folx purchase gift cards to pay-it-forward or buy swag at chair massage events I do that help support clients who cannot cover the expense of massage themselves. If this would benefit you, please don't hesitate to inquire about any availability when you reach out to schedule an appointment with me.
Afterpay: For each appointment, you will be asked to pay a $25 deposit to secure your spot, then at your appointment, you will pay the difference. You are welcome to use your Afterpay account for the deposit and in person at the conclusion of your appointment to break up your payments.
HSA/FSAs: Most HSA/FSAs cover services such as massage, but sometimes they require a referral from your physician or a letter of medical necessity. Review the specifics for your plan to establish how to proceed.
Barter: I am legally permitted to take payment in the form of bartered goods or services equal in cost to my services. Please inquire if you feel this may be a potential route.
A note about gratuities: When you schedule your appointment, you are asked to pay a $25 deposit to secure your appointment; when you pay the difference for your massage at the end of your appointment, the gratuity percentages do not include the $25 deposits. Gratuities are also not necessary, though they are welcome.
Rest for the Wicked Massage Therapy provides multiple modalities to support both relaxation and pain reduction. Additional training allows me to support clients through different life events both major and minor, such as sprains, surgery, sports, and more.
When we schedule I will send you a health intake form. This must be completed in order to confirm your appointment and secure your spot. If you have any difficulty completing this form, please let me know so we can explore an alternate option.
This information is confidential and protected under HIPPA. You can request to view your records at any point.
At the time you schedule your appointment, please anticipate paying a $25 deposit to hold your space. The balance of your fee will be due at the end of your appointment.
In effort to make massage more accessible and to help folx maintain commitments to their bodies, I am happy to offer Seasonal Subscriptions in addition to bookings single session. These are based on frequency of visits with me during each season. There are 3 payment plan options available. For Movement + Mobility 1:1 Programs, 1:1s are combined with massage visits to help manage pain as movement increases.
If you're unsure which option is the right fit for you, please feel free to email me for more discussion about your goals and ends.
Below is an overview of the subscriptions, payment plans, and seasons.

Movement + Mobility Packages with Glitter Mayhem Physical Training--an extension of Rest for the Wicked Massage Therapy--are tailored to client needs, supporting movement that is pain-free/pain-minimal with a combo of massage, assisted stretching, and physical training.
The goal with this program is to expand offerings to directly support pain-free (or pain-minimal*) movement + mobility goals. The plans are personalized to client's needs and goals.
For most folx, I recommend the subscriptions that allow you to predetermine frequency of bodywork and massage with a plan or schedule of 1:1s. This allows me to work directly with your muscle and tissue and support your Movement + Mobility development for your body, including assisted stretching.
Plans and 1:1s are meant to support individuals where they are in their movement + mobility journey and are not developed with assumptions about your experience or what your goals are. Glitter Mayhem Physical Training is focused specifically on movement and mobility goals; I am not a nutritionist and not a weight loss trainer, though, that may be a possible outcome. I work in opposition to fatphobia and its white supremacist origins (though, I still make mistakes and continue to learn and unlearn what I grew up being taught).
I might be a good trainer for you if you:
have chronic pain or a chronic illness
have been immobilized by injury, illness, disability flares, mental health, or other obligations
have sedentary hobbies, vocations, or jobs
have specific athletic goals you want to achieve
I believe in supporting you reach your goals by developing strategies in collaboration with you to find ways to move. I'm a big believer in options and flexibility so we can still hold space for things like changes in life's plans, pain flares, or mental health. And also because some of us need variety or we get bored.
*Why "pain-minimal"? Pain-minimal is meant to acknowledge that some folx have chronic conditions, are immuno-compromised, or in other way impacted such that "pain-free" may not be a realistic goal, but hopefully a collaborative plan can support minimizing pain in movement and mobility.
(Click to see what features you can expect from all of the Movement + Mobility Plans.)
The following are common features of all plans:
A virtual consult to go over client goals and preferences
Often a doctor's/PT's clearance to exercise--though we can accommodate many "pre-existing conditions" with careful + thoughtful plans
A collaborative plan to be tweaked and built-upon as needed; and updated as goals are reached or modified
Email communication and shared Google Sheets
Living shared documentation for easy tracking of goals and plan modification
At-will access to Group Classes online and Field Days around Baltimore

Please reference the subscription packages above for Movement + Mobility services provided with bodywork and massage. Clients can also opt for a personalized Movement + Mobility Plan without a subscription following any bodywork treatment. Movement + Mobility Plans come with customized exercises and stretches, personalized tools for client goals, and available coaching with Puck.
1:1 Movement + Mobility Programs are recommended in conjunction with bodywork and massage, especially if this is your first time pursuing physical activity, returning to activity after illness or injury, or improving movement and mobility with chronic pain or chronic illness. Having said that, 1-3 sessions of 1:1s can be purchased separately and following that we can further assess whether we want to continue 1:1s.
Movement + Mobility Plans Plans are designed for a 3 month period and can be adjusted and updated as needed through open communication and collaboration. $25/Plan
Movement + Mobility 1:1 Programs 1:1 Programs focus on Movement + Mobility and operate best for many folx in conjunction with bodywork and massage. For these folx, described above, please refer to the seasonal subscription packages. For individuals who are simply looking to add more movement to their daily lives or have a specific goal, like preparing for a sports season, 1-3 sessions with a personalized plan can be scheduled initially and more are possible following a collaborative debrief. $50 for plan and first 1:1, $25 for session
Solo RPG Workouts! While some people like to have their workouts in a recipe form (do this, and here are some seasonings options) others find this boring and uninspiring when they need motivation. Glitter Mayhem Physical Training offers both recipes and solo RPG workouts with stories written by the LGBTQGM+. Use your workout and other storytelling tools like dice or a deck of cards to generate different outcomes. Based on solo RPG systems like Hints & Hijinks by Pandion Games and solo RPGs like Project Ecco by Elliot Davis, both of which have a longer lineage among game designers, you will build a character, develop your stats, and use dice and playing cards to select random outcomes to your choices or be directed by past decisions in the game. The stories encourage you to incorporate activities and time spent outside into story, where a hike today becomes part of a larger journey that yesterday was a lower-body-focused workout, and that advanced you along your quest. A decision to help some other travelers may lead you to one workout, while forging ahead will lead to a different workout. Nothing is held rigidly and you can always make adaptations to your workouts as needed. While we work collaboratively, you are still in the driver seat.
